Starting March 6, 2010, Gulf Shores Marina at Fort
Morgan will be hosting a sheepshead fishing tournament. The tournament will run
through April 10, 2010, prizes being awarded to the anglers weighing in the top
10 fish by weight. Tournament tickets may be purchased at the Marina Dock Store
or by phone. Tickets purchased by phone will be charged a $1.00 surcharge. Fish
must be weighed in at Gulf Shores Marina's certified scales between the hours of
6am and 6pm daily. Ticket holders may weigh 1 fish per day. There is a Kids
Division that will be free of charge. Children up to the ages of 14 will be
allowed to weigh in 1 fish per day and the top three finishers will receive a
tournament plaque.
